Looking for a Logo

I'm thinking it's time to design a logo for The Golden Rage. Something that makes the blog stand out.

Stylistically, the logo should properly represent the Golden Age of comic books. Other than that, I'm not sure where to begin, but I'm open to suggestions.

I'll share some rough sketches when they're ready and see which ones you like best.
