Tomorrow is new comic book day and the start of a new month, so now is the ideal time for an overview of the books scheduled for release over the next few weeks.

The revamp of the month is Marvel Comics' 15-Love, which features a new spin on Millie "the model" Collins.

Despite the fact that the character as been around since 1945 and has been portrayed in modern comics as having aged both gracefully and not at all, she  has now morphed into a teenage tennis star.

Misty Collins

Unless, of course, young Mill Collins is another of Millie's relatives, like the gone and apparently forgotten Misty from Marvel's Star Comics line.

The three-issue series has been in development (or, more accurately, languishing in a filing cabinet) since 2003.

Will 15-Love be worth the wait? Has anyone actually been waiting?

I'm a far cry from the target demographic, so I can't really speak to the appeal of the concept. But I'll check out 15-Love, if only because of its golden age roots.
